New in Studio 1.67: channel profiles

Run several video channels without setting everything up again

Each channel has its own voice, subtitles, frame, logo and intro. DubLocal Studio saves them all as one profile: pick the profile and you are done. Copy videos into a watched folder and Studio does the work, or schedule a batch to run at night.

Card payment for international customers is coming soon.

The settings of a video in DubLocal Studio

How to use channel profiles in 4 steps

  1. 01

    Create a profile

Set things up in Batch or in the Export step of a video you like, open Channel profiles and click Save current settings.

  2. 02

Add the logo, intro and outro

In the profile, choose the logo, the channel name, an intro video, an outro video and the channel's own export folder.

  3. 03

    Pick the profile

Pick the profile in Batch, in the Export step or in Script to video: the channel's settings apply at once.

  4. 04

    Let Studio run

Turn on the Watched folder so new videos copied into it are dubbed with the profile, or use Start at for a batch.

What a profile keeps

Profiles stay on your PC, and each account has its own list. Export one to a file to use on another PC (without the intro, outro and folder).

  • Language, voice and reading speed.
  • Subtitle style, 9:16 or 16:9 frame, background music, original audio.
  • Logo, channel name, intro and outro videos, the channel's export folder.

Intro and outro fit the frame

The intro and outro join at export, fitted to the video's frame with their loudness leveled. The SRT subtitle file moves along with the intro. An export with an intro or outro takes a little longer because the whole video is encoded again.

Watched folder and scheduled start

New videos copied into the watched folder go into Batch with the chosen profile; Studio waits for the copy to finish and leaves your file alone. Start at makes a batch begin by itself at night. Both run only while Studio is open.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does applying a profile change videos already exported?

No. A profile only changes the settings of the video you are working on. An exported video stays as it is until you export again.

Does applying a profile to a video change its dubbing mode?

No. A video dubbed by character stays that way; the profile only changes the narrator voice, language, subtitles, frame, music, logo, intro, outro and folder.

Are videos already in the folder taken?

No. When you turn on the Watched folder, videos already there are skipped; only new ones are taken.

Can the PC shut down when it is done?

Yes. Turn on the shutdown after a batch in Settings → Notifications.
